Does ChartSmash need internet access?

Yes, to create charts, play songs from YouTube, and sync changes across devices. If you lose your connection while editing, your changes save on this device and sync when you reconnect.

Where are my charts stored?

Your charts and edits sync to your ChartSmash account, so you can access them on other devices when you sign in. Uploaded playback audio stays on the device where you selected it unless you copy a chart link. Copying the link uploads a separate audio copy for anyone with that link to play. See our privacy policy for storage and deletion details.

Can I edit a generated chart?

Yes. Tap a measure to edit its chords. You can also add or remove sections, adjust the key, and change the title or artist. Your edits save automatically and sync to your account when you’re online.
